LCD TV installation for the best possible viewing

As you are going to be spending hundreds if not thousands in some cases on your TV and depending on which LCD TV you choose, you need to spend some time considering LCD TV installation options. There are quite a few options available to you and some will depend on your preference and the type of room which you are installing the TV in. Some will also depend on the size of LCD TV you have bought and where you are going to be placing it.

You will probably be considering LCD TV installation to give you the best possible viewing angle from all corners of the room, depending on the size of the room and screen will all depend on whether you are better off going for a wall mount or bracket or if you want to place the TV in a corner of the room. There are advantages to both and some people prefer the more traditional floor standing method, while others the bracket or wall mount. One of the biggest problems you will have to over come when choosing the wall mount is how you are going to mask the cabling. This is a lot easier when choosing LCD TV installation on a floor stand. The majority of cabinets allow you to tuck the cables away into the back or they can be coiled in an “S” shape and laid at the back of the cabinet out of sight. However the problem with a bracket system and especially one which will be raised and lowered is how to hide the cables.

If you have chosen a mount for LCD TV installation then you will again have several choices over the type of mount. One of the cheapest systems for mounting your LCD TV on is a simple bracket, this simply attaches to the wall or to a corner of the wall and then the TV is fastened down securely onto the bracket. However there are far more elaborate mountings and these will swivel, tilt and move up and down as you please in order to be able to get the best viewing angle. They are of course more expensive but depending on the size of the area where you are performing the LCD TV installation, they can be well worth paying out that little bit extra for.

To get an idea of where would be the best place for your LCD TV installation and to insure that you do not have to start all over again take your time before going ahead and drilling holes and fixing cables. You can easily do this by sitting down and taking good look around the room, if you have several choices for seating in the room then make sure you sit in all of them and ensure that you would be able to view the screen. This matters in particular if you going to be seating the TV on a stand on the floor.

LCD TV installation choices are numerous so a little consideration before beginning your installation is needed. Wall mounts or free standing, the choice is yours. However plan with your room in mind for the best possible viewing angle.
